THEY SLEW A DREAMER PART 2
Its been decades since the assassination, and the death of the alleged assassin still hasn't brought resolution to the family, friends, and admirers of Rev. Martin Luther King.
Among the people who question Kings Death are, Kings Widow Corretta Scott King, his children and colleagues Andrew Young, Rev Jesse Jackson. Are these people who just can not deal with a loss and refuse to go on? Hardly!
Rev Jesse Jackson said on a national broadcasted new show "All I know is that police were all around. You had literally 100 to 150 police in the area, and they didn't see anybody.(1)
Former New York Times report Earl Caldwell said "I'm in the doorway. Then I see this figure directly at eye length coming out of a crouched position in these bushes. When you look directly across from my doorway, you were looking at thicket." Caldwell also said Kings driver Soloman Jones told him later he saw a figure and puffs of smoke coming from the same bushes. Caldwell told Forrest Sawyer that at least half a dozen people saw someone crouched in the same bushes some even saw a gun.(2)
Forrest mentioned that the same bushes that Mr Caldwell had mention were all cut down by the morning after the assassination. Andrew Young agreed and said "Somebody gave an order in the middle of the night to go out and cut down that underbrush. So that when the sun came up on the 5th of April, the bushes were no longer there.(3)"
A 1977 House select committee to investigate the murder of King said they had ample evidence that James Earl Ray was the killer of King but they also believed he did not act alone The committee's Chief Counsel for Robert Blakey said in St Louis a group of racist business men offered a 50,000 dollar bounty on king. Blakey said the committee was able to tie the bounty offer to Ray or his family circumstantially.(4)
Christopher Pyle a former military intelligence officer said "Wherever Dr King went, everybody was watching." (5)
An expert ballistics Robert Hathaway hired by Rays Lawyer testified that 12 of the 18 bullets fired from the rifle that allegedly killed King had an identical reference point that, were not on the slug that Killed King. (6)
The end game is on April 23 1998 James Earl Ray died of liver disease. Thus ended his battle to let the real truth be known.(7)
Martin Luther Kings Family filed a civil suit on October 2 1998 the suit accuses Lloyd Jowers and unknown co-conspirators of being involved in Kings Murder. Jowers claimed in 1993 that he hired a gun man to kill king and it was not Ray. (8)
Judge Joe Brown who testified that the rifle found at the scene with Rays Finger prints on it wasn't sighted properly and you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it. (9)
Markings 12 of the 18 bullets fired from the alleged King assassination rifle did not match the death slug. (10)
Lone assassin, government plot, or racist plot the truth of the King Assassination must be known.
